I was of the opinion the socks would be entirely of heating material. I never suspected these would only be inserts. They aren’t very warm. The ankle portion of the socks should be longer to reach near mid calf.

From freezing to toasty
Thera Socks really work to keep cold feet warm and comfortable. Once the microwaveable inserts generate the warmth, the fleece fabric works to hold in the heat. I am very happy with this purchase.
